As a Registered Nurse with graduate degrees in Counselling Psychology and Leadership and Developmental Psychology and over 25 years of experience, I bring a unique perspective to supporting clients. With a deep commitment to helping individuals heal and thrive, I bring a wealth of experience and compassion to my practice. As an experienced trauma-focused clinician, I integrate a range of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, CBT, Narrative Therapy, HeartMath, and self-regulation training. A particular area of expertise is working with couples.
My clinical foundation is enriched by diverse academic achievements, including a Diploma in Registered Nursing, a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, and a PhD specializing in Leadership and Developmental (Child) Psychology. This unique blend of expertise allows me to offer comprehensive care tailored to each client’s individual needs.
I approach therapy with compassion and respect, understanding the complexities of trauma and mental health challenges. My goal is to empower clients by fostering resilience, self-awareness, and emotional regulation, guiding them toward meaningful and lasting change. Together, we can create a path to healing, growth, and personal empowerment.
I specialize in helping clients heal from trauma, overcome mood disorders, and resolve family conflicts. I use integrative techniques to address emotional wounds, foster resilience, develop coping strategies, manage emotional distress, and work toward stability and emotional well-being. My approach is rooted in fostering understanding, enhancing communication, and promoting healthy interactions.
